Music Compositions
The Parental Science of
Music that originated in Sama Veda, travelled from India to Persia to
Arabia to Europe, which then became known as ‘Western Music,’ and the original
then became known as ‘Indian Music.’ The Classical Indian rhythmic Music based
on Raagas, initaited by Narada from the times of Ramayana and Mahabharata, was mainly played on
Veena with seven notes, accompanied by drum later known as Tabala. The
apogee of sweet rhythmic music centered around Krishna and Radha’s themes on the
banks of the sacred Yamuna river at Vrindavana, which then resulted in the
development of Bhakti movement.
This Bhakti Sangit is the foundation of Ratnakar’s musical copmpsitions which are present in his several books as shown below. For an example of his beautiful devotional composition, please see one antara of his following song devoted to Shri Rama.
Such intricate bi-lingual typing is difficult without the use of Ratnakar’s Custom Made Sarasvati Devanagari and Canada Transliteration Fonts.
